    There are two methods you can use to check if the NYSC certificate issued to you is original, and that is the online and offline certificate verification method. Note that, only the NYSC discharge certificates, the NYSC certificate of Exemption, and the Exclusion letters. If you wish to check the authenticity of any of these certificates, follow the instructions below:

    How to Verify your NYSC Exemption Certificate Using the Online Verification method

    Follow the guidelines below to use the online verification method to check the authenticity of your certificate:JAMB Form

    1. Visit the official NYSC certificate verification portal via https://verify.nysc.org.ng
    2. Click on “Proceed to Verification” to begin the procedure
    3. Enter your correct NYSC email address and passwordNpower Recruitment
    4. If you have forgotten your NYSC password, then click on the “Forget password” link belowHow to Get to NYSC Camp Iyana Ipaja
    5. If you’re new user, simply click on the “sign up” link below to register on the NYSC portal
    6. After entering your email address and password, click on “login” to verify your certificate

    Note: You will be required to pay a sum of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000) only to verify your NYSC certificate.

    How to Verify your NYSC Exemption Certificate Using the Offline Verification method

    Follow the guidelines below to use the offline verification method to check the authenticity of your certificate:How to Activate NIN on Mtn, Airtel, Glo, 9mobile

     
    1. Write a letter of request for the verification of your NYSC certificate number to NYSC.
    2. The request letter is to be addressed to the “Director-General, National Youth Service Corps, Directorate Headquarters, Plot 416, Tigris Crescent, Maitama, Abuja.” And submitted to the NYSC headquarters.
    3. Ensure that your request letter is marked “Attention: Director (Corps Certification)”
    4. Attach a photocopy of the NYSC certificate you wish to verify.
    5. If you wish to verify multiple certificates, make sure you number them serially with a pen, and attach the photocopies of the NYSC certificate to the letter.JAMB Result
    6. The application letter is to be submitted to the NYSC Director General’s Registry located at the 6th floor of the NYSC headquarters (Yakubu Gowon House)
    7. Do not forget to include your contact address, telephone number, and email address in your application letter.
